I think they may have budgeted for being back with crowds a lot sooner. Also the take up of iFollow has been a lot less than expected. I still think there is room for more as Ryan Sparks said the week before the window closed

Not even slightly bothered about the Oldham game time to rest first teamers but it’s more than vital we win the next two

I agree that business needs to be pro-active to succeed, I was part of one but Alexander?. Do you mean the same who was sacked at Fleetwood, sacked at Scunny and sacked at Salford and before that didn't last long coaching PNE youth. There is a thread here and certainly something went badly wrong at Salford given his (and his deputy's) abrupt departure.

I agree Alexander wouldn't be for me.

All depends on the clubs visions. A younger manager might be what this club needs now. I don't mean a Collins but someone that knows the game.

Problem is when you have say a Warnock(not even sure he wants to be a manager) then Bradford City don't like it when he speaks out about improvements. It's what we need though..No Yes people! A manager that wants the club to improve.

As much as McCall is a legend here he just seems a lucky manager. What I mean by that is a manager who thinks I wouldn't be in a job if I wasn't a legend at this club. I don't here how the club needs to improve off the pitch, I don't here how it needs to improve on it. I here I want to be left alone and make my own decision...Hmmm no! He is't good enough to be able to do that and that's why the club find itself in the position it does with many fans wanting McCall out!

The club is dead from the core and needs a rebuild from the top down.

Vital that initiative, leadership, commitment and passion stems from the top allied to a clear strategy, and understanding of the business. With the best intent I feel that SR is just too divorced from the job in hand and is inhibited by his passing interest in football, having been lured into investing. There seems to be a disconnect between the pitch side and the Boardroom somehow. Anyway I truly hope Stuart can rally the troops and step things up..essential really to maintain interest.

You could apply that logic to McCall. Sacked at Bradford before (lol) sacked at Scunthorpe, Sacked at Motherwell.

Look at Alexanders positives and not just that he has been out of work, all managers have at some point.

alexander managed 145, 113, and 112 games in his last Three appointments. At Scunthorpe when he left they were in 5th place. He got Salford into the league and was harshly sacked the fergie babes wont be as easy to please as Rupp and Rhodes.

McCall has lasted 96, 39, and currently 19 here.

Anyone would think i had mentioned Steve Evans!

I'm actually dreading the Southend game. Lose and we will be deep in the mire - if we're not already - and it's going to be carnage.

If we win then McCall will no doubt start talking like he's across between Alf Ramsey and Michael Fish and everything is now fine and the criticism was unnecessary which will greatly annoy me!

He wasn't sacked at Motherwell he resigned. At the time their executive described him as one of the most successful managers in their 128 year history. In 2013 he was awarded the SPL manager of the year.

Ah fell on his sword. Just a shame Bradford City Fans can’t say the same about his successes as a manager for us, maybe Pop and Crisp league is where he should have stayed.

Be interesting to see if he can get a job anywhere after this shit shower ends.

Alexander is not one I would want at City.

He got Salford up but look at the budget
he had.Paying Rooney big wages from
Aberdeen! He was appointed because of
the experience he had at league 2 level
    but not particularly successful.

Stuart wants success as much as we do but
I think he's too close and too desperate for
it to happen but I'm beginning to think he's
Not cut out for a managers role.

Someone suggested a role as ambassador
which is a good shout.A role that works with
his great playing career would attract sponsors.

He got Fleetwood into the league as well.As you say, many successful managers have been sacked at some time,it's how they build their pension pots.

Salford, Fleetwood and (to a lesser extent) Scunthorpe...a bit of a common theme here, would suggest he is a cheque book manager, so no thanks.

I said I wasn't bothered about the Tonbridge and Oldham games... I'd like to see us take the Oldham game seriously now in light of the last two games.

Potential impetus for the tough upcoming fixtures

100% agree. Rest as many of what can be considered a starting XI as possible whilst remaining within the laughable rules of the competition.

Quite sure that will be Stuart’s approach as well.
