Of course they can go down that route and end up in the same position. The next time we appoint a manager it should be done properly with no option not considered. We are not yet in a desperate position of course if the results continue then the clubs hand may be forced but I hope we can do it properly next time

Yes I can go along with that the present situation being the most urgent because of the reasons you've given, for me yesterday Tuesday and Saturday were/are crucial winnable games, yesterdays gone with another inept performance where there was nothing positive anyone could take from the game, Stuart says he's found the right formation, not sure the players picked to start yesterday were the correct ones for that formation when the likes of Pritchard, Watt and Clarke cant get a start or even introduced as subs.
I really don't care what nationality a manager is as you say some clubs have found success having brought German managers/coaches in, maybe the new CEO and Rupp would favour going down that route, with Rupp getting advice from someone within the German game, all if's and buts, we need to get our present results/performances sorted sooner rather than later.

 

Didn't we say the same thing with regards Collins, Hopkin and Bowyer their number 2 being Drury.

 

One thing for sure is that the supporter base no longer seems that divided on this topic.

I said before the Harrogate game that the next few games will show us the true strength of the squad. Indeed it did, sadly revealing a weak bunch of players who cannot seem to pass to each other or play as a team.

I can think of no other reason for the disappointing (cheap) standard of recruitment. What other reason would prompt them to replace Vaughan, with Samuels?!

 

The next manager who ever he maybe must be given a full 2 year contract
With the backing of the owner/ ceo to bring in his own backroom staff and scouting team
Build a squad to get out of this division inside the length of contract and be good enough to be comfortable in a higher division
This team must be our own players not loanees and under 25s
Then the new owner /ceo can look at the next plan

Its pretty obvious Stuart isnt going anywhere until after this weekend at the earliest so time to divert all attention to getting 3 vital pts from Southend game tomorrow and beating Tonbridge in the Cup - any City fan who doesn't have these objectives at the top of their agenda needs to question themselves as well as slating our manager.
Need just need some positive vibes for the next few days (we all know if these games go pear shaped then there will be little doubt what will happen)

Roy Keane made an interesting comment about the Man U players last night; he said it shouldn't be Ole's job to motivate them once they cross the line because they should already have all the motivation they need inside themselves, and he's right.
I know there's a world of difference between playing at Old Trafford and Valley Parade, but if you are a professional footballer at any level, you should always have the passion and desire to win every game and if you don't, you might just be in the wrong job. I'd love to see a bit of fire in the belly from our lads tomorrow and a bit of belief in themselves and each other, because at this level, that alone can sometimes be the difference in whether you get something from the game or you don't.

 

lets not kid ourselves. We lose tomorrow night we are in a desperate position. The season we finished rock bottom in league one we had 7 points after 10 games, lose tomorrow and we only have 2 more. It’s been a poor start which could be made very poor should we lose tomorrow night. It’s a must win
