Manager Rumour Thread

It's not usual for a manager search to go on this long. There is clearly a good reason for it and the above version of events seem plausible. It's not looking too good is it?

Back to the article, it is very specific and names quite a few people. But, from the names mentioned it further evidences ER's complete lack of footballing awareness. Very ambitious to hope to tempt a well-regarded coach away from the likes of Chelsea. I just can't see why an experienced coach like David Unsworth would want to assume all the accountability for team performance without the influence on recruiting the team.

This article has worried me more about the position we are in.

 

Is the Chelsea coach named in that article the bloke who you were referring to last week being on the shortlist?

yeh, please let me know where i said that - i'm just not in the mindset of believing a rag that has no new evidence, no quotes from a manager that has rejected the job or given the club a right of reply. all they've done is type up what people have said on here for a national audience.

 

It started during the closed season with the McCall situation, rumbled on with our main sponsors then staff within the club were told poor season tickets sale were their fault and now the National Press outing Edin but don't worry its just a few bitters poster on a football forum stirring it up for Edin, open your eyes guys and smell the coffee.
