McCall IN/OUT (with new Poll)

I'll be honest if he was sacked in the morning I wouldn't care. I love him as a bloke but I think as a manager he has lost his way.

The alarm bells for me started going off at the fans forum. Talking utter nonsense.

He is trying too hard to prove he is a good manager but doesn't realise he is complicating things. He needs to get on the phone to Warnock and understand he needs to get back to making the game simple again. Stop worrying about other teams and let them worry about us.

It's not going to work if he continues like this.

 

Sorry to offend you but, I'd like to see a team that appears to be coached rather than just turning up and not perform.

 

Agree with comment Clayton was far from the worst player out there tonight but not what I was going to post - simply going to say when Samuels came on I said to my son 'Stuart says this player is the final piece of the jigsaw for this season' and at the end of the match he said to me 'sorry dad but I think there are quite a few pieces missing'. You’re right. The majority of the first 11 should be in their best positions with 3 or 4 utility players. Where’s Suttons best position, Cooke’s best position, Evans, French? 5 or 6/10 performance is bang average and that’s what we are. When was the last time we had a player getting 8 or 9, week in week out? Even a 7 would be good.

 

Mcall was a good player for us not as a manger good in scottish league got shit track record as manger has made some rubish signings for us and playing shit football for city style of play.

Last nights performance was poor we are being let down again. It is a difficult situation but it needs sorting and soon .

I am not a knee jerk sort of person, so gave myself a few hours to digest last nights performance.
Too many players way off the pace last night, most had not played for 10 days, they should have been raring to go but were second best in all departments. The formation played by Stuart left us wide open down the flanks, the warning signs were there and the sky commentators mentioned it on several occasions, but he did nothing to counter this.
He needs to stop with this diamond rubbish and play to the players strengths. Wood and French were both totally over run and did not have an effect on the game at all as an attacking option . I thought Donaldson had a reasonable game and Cooke should have scored from his back heal the young lad should also have at least got his shot on target at the end.
Although a draw would have been harsh on Harrogate, who wanted it more than us and outplayed us in every department.

 

I can't see anyone defending McCall on here tonight, most have an open mind with regards everything Bradford City and post like wise, maybe it's because 95% of Bradford City fans dont haven agenda unlike a couple on here who cant be seen on the forum until we get beat.

andy - Donaldson def was our best striker last night, he was about a 5 out of 10 and that says it all! I was desperately hoping Samuels would come on and make a difference but 'the final piece of the jigsaw' looked like it was from a different box (not his fault, just any expectations were not really in keeping with the reality of his career to date)
Your last sentence sums it up - and yet beforehand McCall and Clarke both came out with articles about the fact we were playing Harrogate Town in the league and that would be hard to take for City fans - they must know how losing this match affects the esteem and pride we take in our club. We werent good enough, physically strong enough, tactically smart enough to put the new boys in their place and are bottom of the top 4 divisions table in Yorkshire clubs and yes it is bloody hard to take.

 

That is the thing that drives debate and is the measure of a manager. How they manage things when they go wrong. How they change things when it isn't going right in a game. The difficult conversations.
