    I wonder what figure they could possibly come up with, non-league 900,000, L2 £1.5 mill,L1 £2.5 mill,
    championship- £5 mill?
I can hear you laughing now.
Ex-prem clubs with sky's parachute windfall v. teams like Forest,Sheff Weds, Derby who have been in that league a fair few years v. teams like Wycombe,Rovrum and Coventry who have just come up.
How on earth do they come up with a sensible figure.

The proposal was for a salary cap of .... wait for it .... <drum roll> ... £18 fecking million! And that wasn't even put to a vote 'cos they knew is wouldn't be passed. As you suggest, there's an enormous difference between those clubs who want to run on a sustainable basis, such as Rotherham and previously Burton, and those who are either in receipt of parachute payments or have enormous commerial income or owners with very, very deep pockets and who don't mind mind shelling out £10mill or so every season for just a channce of joining the PL. And without getting agreement with the clubs via a vote, the EFL don't have the wherewithal to impose a salary cap in the championship. I doubt anything will happen in the short term without other pressures being brought to bear.

Wow, £18 million not enough and the likes of Wycombe and Coventry would get nowhere near the cap limit.
Dont let rupp see this information, he'll have a heart attack!

Looking at those figures they would have to set it around £35-40m to get half the votes.

Some of those numbers are absolutely crazy. 3 clubs spending over 90m a year! Also shows just how good of a job is being done at Brentford.
Look at Huddersfield too and I bet their academy costs 3 times what our first team costs to run each year. The gulf in finances is worth pointing out after some of the comments after our pre-season game.

In fairness, those numbers came from 2017/18 when the three clubs were in the PL. Their wages bill dropped signifcantly when they were relegated to the Championship ... to around the £50mill mark! And of course, they were also receiving parachute payments to help fund their wages bill.

Town was also in the PL in 2017/18

Because I needed to change a surname on one ticket and my grandson was in the wrong age group. No way of doing it online.
I emailed Mick Lamb and a charming young lady phoned me up and sorted it all out for me.

Always found the ticket office to be helpful, went out of their way for me last season with helping me pay for some tickets that i couldn't get down to the office to pay for.

Another season and another ridiculously obsessed thread on season ticket sales.
£6.50 a game for adults and we are a one club city with a population of over half a million. Im not sure the numbers are at all impressive.

Not to make any sort of difference to our season ticket sales.
If the figures are correct and were selling between 600/700 a day they are remarkable sales figures for what Bradford City fans have had to put up with recently.

If the club was run as well as the ticket office we would be watching Championship football not 2nd division dross,

Bolton have announced this afternoon that they've sold 7000 season tickets so far. Wonder when we'll get an update on how many we've sold.
