Which vastly highlights your lack of understanding of the modern game.

For me the season hinges on whether there is 23 teams worse than us in this league

1 team worse and build from there!

Hope we finish higher than Harrogate or were facing a new footballing low.

Like yourself, I have enough to be able to afford the £150.

What I want to know is what I will get, all too vague at the moment.

Better not to say something ‘may’ be available, build up anticipation and then say oh err sorry we can’t provide that!

To be fair they haven’t promised anything what they said was they were working towards a situation where fans can watch every home match for £150. They made it clear that it was dependent on negotiations with the the broadcasting companies. I don’t think there is anything confusing about it

Maybe not for you but others have found it and that’s a missed opportunity for the club. If they could have put it as simply as you just did they would have done a better job imo.

I think people find problems for the sake of just read the update slowly and there is nothing complicated about it. And the proviso at the end was also very clear

I don’t think so re finding problems, some people just get frustrated with the amateurishness of the club, personal view is it read crap with some contradictions that lead to a bit of confusion and needing to re read , it shouldn’t need specific ‘slow’ reading instructions, ultimately it’s outlining a simple concept !

You quoted me. You then made a quantum jump and included the word ‘promised’.

    Nowhere did I say ‘promised’.

The precise term I used was, ‘something ‘may’ be available, build up anticipation’.

So I was fair and for you to imply I wasn’t, is in itself ’unfair’.

Read what I posted again and reply to it factually, or withdraw your comments!

I think that saying they didn’t promise anything is quite fair in reply to this. They made it clear that any offer was conditional on agreement with the broadcasters.

So we agree they promised ‘nothing’?

However by suggesting a number of ‘if’s/but’s/maybes‘, by using terms like, ‘TheClub hopes’, ‘potential package’, then describing the possible ‘package’, specifically mentioning i-Follow, that they have built up an ‘anticipation’?

For me, you should only talk about things which you are in a position to provide.

Tonight I ‘hoped’ that the ‘potential’ for me to win the Euro Lottery could be achieved. Out of my hands, but just thought I would mention it.

I would agree in normal circumstances but this was an update on the clubs position many people were asking what was happening with season tickets and all this did was to lay out the clubs thinking and for me it was very clear it was subject to certain things. I can not for the life of me see anything wrong in that

In respect of the ground capacity, the Claret or Amber pass, plus not being able to have your usual seat, then for sure those ‘updates’ were fine.

However to then go on about something which is out of your hands, in respect of a combined i-Follow option, which was out with their control, was in my mind wrong.

The club have not named the players they may wish to sign, because that is out of their control. That is the correct business model, in my mind. If you cannot see that there are clear parallels.... well!

You're not that stupid are you? It's situations like this for me I think you play games.

Really the club just needed to communicate about things in their control. No point even taking about IFollow..A deal isn't between Bradford City and Ifollow. It's between Sky and Ifollow, Sky and the EFL, EFL and the PL or and the FA will come into it. Bradford City like all the other football league clubs will have to wait to see what the outcome is which made it utter pointless talking about a 'maybe'.
