A POINTLESS STATEMENT THEN!

 

We are all confused to some extent Fordy. There is uncertainty around things regarding our football club. This is partly because yes they aren't always the best at keeping us supporters informed but also a lot of things at the moment are not only out of their hands, they are constantly changing and will continue to do so until a reliable vaccine is available is found. These are very uncertain times.
I will go watch the games when we are allowed back, under whatever conditions are imposed on us by both the club and public health guidelines. However I know I will have to accept that things won't be the same, no cheering or singing (maybe just polite hand clapping, Happy Clappers will be okay with that!), my after match beers on North Parade will probably be out of the question. We will all have to adapt for the foreseeable future.

That is certainly how I understood it, Rod.

In fact, that was about the only part of the statement that seemed crystal clear.

 

We al appreciate an update but it was badly written when less would have been more to a certain extent. They need to get this right they are staring down the barrel of about 5000 season ticket sales at most, people just wont bother, there is more to life than covid-19 face mask and social distanced footy spectating.

Is it just me but the message from the club was fine. After all, they don't have all the answers themselves and one has to appreciate a message, with the season less than 4 weeks away.

Now, I'm one for giving abuse when things (in my eyes) are wrong with a rotten leek but in this case....

 

Can meet my mates at pub
Cant go to game with them
Can't sit with them
No singing
No chantinf
No beer
No pies
No point going

 

Because they choose to be. Like I said yesterday, nit picking for nit pickings sake.

 

Where have I said anything is easy in these uncertain times nothing is easy but companies like sky will make it as easy as they can for supporters to watch their teams as not everyone wants to watch Premier league football but will still be sky customers so they adapt to that market aswell. So then coming to a deal with iFollow to show football at 3pm on a Saturday..
So we will have to wait and see if they do get the go ahead but you wrote it off from the beginning with the no chance comment.

Gets me that Sky won't show live football 3.00pm Saturday but will at times that real fans are either on their way to a game and also when we are on our way home after...

That's actually a UEFA rule that Sky as domestic rights holders have to adhere to. Im sure if they were allowed to, they would.

Cap season tickets at 7000 and we can all attend every game, sell day tickets on dedicated seats for games

 

We sold more 12.400 and it’s a much bigger percentage than that 78%

 

I agree but I have just come off an international business call in the Caribbean and they're in lockdown again with only 12 deaths and 532 infections.

So if other countries are acting this way i feel a second lockdown here is close!

I can not see Bradford and it's Leeds Rd not having matches played behind close doors next season.
