Pitch currently holding lots of water, would expect it not to be on having just had a look.

Im assuming its their choice to set off a day in advance, i get its long way to go but that technically isnt our problem. Id say as long as its before 9am tomorrow then we wouldnt have broken any such rule.

As above mate it was holding water at the Bradford End yesterday, if the club have been so slack as not to get a local referee in to postpone the game we deserve having to reimburse Plymouth for their traveling expenses, seems we don't learn.

I hope your correct, is that a deadline set by the FL a 9 am inspection, I'd have thought that was pushing for Plymouth to Bradford in 5 hours.

Of course we would have to pay them for their expenses.

Plymouth would of consulted the club about the game ahead of the game and if setting off the day before I would of thought that we are confident the game is going ahead.

Do think they just set off for a day out up north?

If the match is postponed Plymouth will be entitled to travel and hotel expenses as per EFL regulation 28.5:

In this day and age even league two teams set off the day before, have a workout in the morning have lunch and then set off, with accommodation book up here, if that is the case I would say around £4,000 min we would owe Plymouth ?.

It’s a difficult situation you could call the match off and it’s perfectly playable the following day maybe Plymouth will stop halfway and wait of a 9am inspection

Mate, they would have been in communication with the club all week.

Calling the game off is not their problem if it's not been done today, so they will travel up and get their hotel stay then tomorrow if Bradford call it off then set off back knowing all expenses will be covered.

The weather report for tomorrow is rain all day if it was holding water yesterday and is again today not sure we should leave it until 9am, surely this day and age players don't get up at 7am to board a bus for Bradford for one of their longest away trips, I would be very much surprised if they didn't set off at lunch time today.
We are after all talking about the notorious Valley Parade playing (or none playing) surface.
    I believe @StaffordBantam@StaffordBantam covers it here ?.
A Club shall only be entitled to claim hotel expenses where it would be necessary or desirable for the Visiting Club to leave its headquarters before 9am on the day of the match, alternatively, not be possible to arrive back at its headquarters within five hours travelling time, including a stop of not more than 30 minutes, of the conclusion of the League Match.

One thing is certain, with the journey time from Plymouth, there's no way their team would be leaving it until 09:00 tomorrow to set off.

I would expect them to stop overnight much closer to Bradford than that.

Either way, we would have to pay them hotel and travel expenses if the match is postponed.
