McCall - officially new manager

I'm happy stuart is back, mostly because the 'football' served up since he left has been nothing short of diabolical. He'll get those players believing again and enjoying their football which they clearly weren't under Bowyer.

Do I think it's the right appointment long term? Not sure, time will tell I suppose, but I think this is obviously a commercial decision from Rhodes to up the ST sales.

One thing is for sure, VP will be rocking on Saturday now, can't wait!

Not my first, second or third choice but you know what... I have goosebumps already imagining what the atmosphere will be like come Saturday!

The morgue is no more, lets enjoy the biggest crowd of the season and hopefully he can have a positive impact on the players in the next few days.

Just imagine this.... We attack from the off, press the opposition in to mistakes and have more than 5 shots on target!

Got him to reduce the wage bill and let Stuart sign a few players in Middleton and Novak. I do still find it strange Bowyer said he knew nothing about them... Radio Leeds told HIM, mid interview that Middleton had been confirmed.

 

Because they said until at least until the end of the season. No contract end date.

Sky reported its to 20/21 and now I think (can't see it) that they've now said its to 20/21 on the Bradford City site.

 

The swiftness of the appointment plus the arrival of Novak and Middleton says to me that McCall was lined up before Bowyer went. McCall also says Rhodes contacted him, not the other way round.
Will see how it goes. I enjoyed watching McCall's football the last time round. I would be delighted if we can go up this season, but what we see on a match day will surely be a vast improvement.
I would have preferred Nathan Jones as a long term appointment but maybe he wasn't interested in League 2.

BTW there seem to be a few right miserable new members arrived on here in the last day or two.

 

We might not have been able to afford to pay off the final 18 months of Bowyer's deal, and pay off Drury, had we not raised 250k moving on Doyle and Vaughan?

 

I really don’t get the negativity. If it wasn’t for that Bosnian/German shit for brains Stuart would have had us in the championship.

Novak is an improvement on Vaughan and at last a dedicated wide man in Middleton, Has our new managers prints all over it

 

And can't do with happyclappers shouting Stuart Stuart every game rathan than one of our players that actually playing. Not some old has been. The club has no ambition at all. Ground hog day. Captain admin and stefan are a joke.
