Mellor and Reeves need rockets to just go forward. Everytime they receive it they never even look forwards.

Connolly really has no end product does he?! Everytime he gets in a dangerous area I get no thought that something will come of it.

Both CMs have been shite.

50/50 game both teams look poor. They remind me of England in a low key friendly passing it side to side for the sake of it.

Colchester look dangerous on the break. Especially with BRE having one of his games where he thinks he’s Bobby Moore.

At least we look to have shape about us. A flat back four, a midfield with some balance, granted we haven't created anything but thats more down to Connolly having no end product. Shame as his pace has the full back all over. Could easily nick this.

Doyle is obviously isolated often getting nowhere near the ball which could easily look like not being interested to the often untrained eye.

We need to try get more in the box, odd time we got behind there was no one in there plus the ball in/cross was awful

Midfield tidy but slow, give a few too many fouls away for me.

Think their lad can count himself a tad lucky to be still on the pitch following the tackle on wood


Refreshing listening to the away commentary team for once, i do think they have given us a bit too much credit at times

 

Still no goal for Doyle. Bowyer is an utter mug.
