I would hate to have players that suit Bowyer's style because if he doesn't start improving I think he will be sacked.

 

Dunno, tbh, we could be getting linked to all these strikers to put pressure on you if you are still entertaining letting Doyle go.

Cant believe we’ll run the risk of not getting Doyle whilst at the same time pissing off other clubs with pretend interest in their players.

According to Wellens we are announcing a loan striker in the next two days, it's a proven striker and it's going to cost a bit more.

Strong indication it may well be Griggs, and we have let the idea of Doyle coming back go by the looks of it (although town fans would love him back as you could see he loved it here).

I know you say "Swindon play the poor card" but if you are allowed to recall a striker, you know won't score for you, to try derail us then surely we can play our own games to try get a better deal. Swings and roundabouts.

Either way looks like it's kind of backfired and you may be stuck with an unhappy player that wants out.

 

You know literally nothing about Doyle's mindset and if he "wants out" or not. You've read a couple of interviews, pieced the bits you want to believe together and come up with a narrative that suits your opinion.

On Doyle's first day back in training he was pictured laughing alongside Vaughan. Does that all of a sudden mean he wants to sign a new contract and stay at the club? Probably not.

Thre facts are that Doyle, at the end of the season, will go to the club that offers him the most security. That isn't you in January and it won't be you in the summer, how about you just move on and stop second guessing something you know nothing about.

I would add one photo of him laughing with another striker that's doing sod all for you, amongst all the others where he looks miserable... what was that about bending things to suit your narrative?

You single by any chance? Think you need a better hobby than hanging around on other clubs forums. If that proper makes your day I'm glad I won't have to live a day in your shoes I'd recommend Bingo but I wouldn't want to be held responsible for you hyperventilating into shock.

 

Local press seem to think Grigg will be signing today or tomorrow, which will almost certainly mean Doyle will be staying at Bradford.

Personally, I'd prefer Doyle on account of knowing that he is a good fit. That, and there's the chemistry with the fans. Still, what a signing Grigg would be at this level...

This could really backfire for Bradford. Unless you get him scoring, which seems unlikley. I wonder to what extent your recruitment has been affected by his recall?

Its affected it but at the end of the day we've brought in (back) a 23 goalscoring striker.

He wouldn't have done the same for you. Not a chance he'd have scored 46 goals.

 

We'll see at the end of the season. He won't score 23 goals, nobody ever thought he'd do that with you after last season.
