    It’s not often I praise this club but fair play. I was fully expecting us to take the money and come out with the usual bullshit about needing to plug the deficit etc.

    The right decision was made.

    Lot of pressure now on Bowyer, can't not play him but dare he throw him straight in? Gonna have to play two upfront if he does and then work out how to supply the chances. Also interesting to see how Doyle reacts when its clear his preferred choice lay elsewhere. And if the goals dry up?

    Not back in training until tomorrow... So they'll have two days at least. Looking at his goals for Swindon... I do think we have created similar chances that we just haven't put away. That game against Salford.... 26 shots.... 1 - 1. Looking at his finishing for Swindon I think Doyle would have put a number away.

    I feel you may regret not just taking the money from Swindon. Just don’t see any evidence that either a) Bowyer will play in a way to get a Doyle in his Swindon form or b) That the squad has the right players to play that way even if Bowyer wanted to
