This is an appalling game! very scrappy and lots of tired legs from both sides.

If i was a Bradford fan i'd be thinking that Swindon are there for the taking. Ravaged with injuries and players carrying knocks. Be an interesting second half.

 

A bit rich coming from the most boring poster on here who repeats himself every week.

 

They look threatening but haven't really done anything.
We've hit the post and Taylor put a good chance wide.
Game on if we can stay like this till the 60th and get oteh on.

I'm at the game. We constantly take any impetus out of our attacks by passing back to the keeper and letting him boot it back to Swindon. Not out of it but still pretty awful

Without the wood mistake this would be a dire 0-0 Game

 

Me too, we were second best that half, no if's but's or maybe's.

 

I don’t think you can point the finger at tactics when the quality of what is on there has been poor. 3 in midfield and they’ve not owned the middle of the park. Cooke has been poor, Palmer marginally better but improved as the half went on.

Difference between the teams, they pass and move. We are far too stagnant and not getting anywhere close to Vaughan when we play it in to him.

Come out and go at them at the beginning of the second half and closer to Vaughan is desperately needed.

 

I've checked skybet again. Says 64% to Swindon. I'm not arguing about possession stats - bottom line, we're losing in a game where the best it's been for us is 10-15 of both sides being 'ok'. Most of that half has been dictated by them.

And what possession stats dont tell you is what you do with it. We get the ball and the only type of deliberate possession we have is when the back 4 spend 5 mins passing it sideways, before eventually twatting to long.

Swindon get it and they look to go forward.

 

So what? Everything they said in my post is true, it's not good enough.

 

I'm sure he can see it. But we're away to top of the table. Take that penalty away and the tactics would have worked. They haven't had a chance since the pen.

now beginning to infuriate me that Bowyers signed some fecking good players and can clearly spot talent yet is absolutely wasting it with negativity. He's made us hard to beat now build on that with some decent attacking play, we have some of the best individual footballers in the league yet they're wasted. I'm all for giving him time but he's gotta take his head out of his arse on this one.

 

Radio Leeds:

- Swindon look confident on the ball, they've made a few errors which Bradford have exploited but played confidently

- Swindon look to pass and run forwards, City are passing sideways and back

- Bradford have no one to pass to forwards, they turn round and bypass everyone to pass back to O'Donnell to kick it

- Connolly seems confused. Doing at least two jobs in trying to support Vaughan and play on the wing. He can't do both.

- Vaughan seems frustrated. Couple of times Chris Taylor has tapped him on the back and kept trying to encourage him.

All in all doesn't sound promising.

 

One mistake is all it takes.
Upfront on your own ,yes I'd say that's isolated.
And Bowyer can see it but he's a stubborn manager.

 

Maybe, and yet weve had discussions on here that the betting sites are at the cutting edge of in game stats because they base their business model on the back of it.

Forget stats though - we have 2 different sets and I have no way of knowing for sure which are more credible. What I do know from watching that half is that for the most part, weve been second best in every department. They looked a well coached team who look to play positively when they get it. We look disjointed, confused and ineffective. Forget a fee for Doyle, let's try and get Wellens in exchange instead
