    I have to say I find it hard to understand why Mansfield sit 4th bottom. Play offs last year, decent enough team today.... Maynard, Rose, Cook up front but looked impotent.

    It was a terrible game of football, I'd stop watching if I had to watch that every week. And that's after lowering my expectations of what league 2 footballers should be capable of. This isn't just applicable to City, the division is as anti football as I've seen. Reminds me of watching John Docherty's football in the early nineties. 3points but not the sort of football I prefer to watch.

    Nonsense statement. Accrington & Luton did it with a nice style in the 2018 season, Pompey the year before that. MK Dons absolutely walked it playing decent football under Ince. One of the best sides I saw down in the lower divisions when they celebrated promotion at VP. It's as harsh as you make it. Swindon are sat at the top of the league scoring plenty of goals and playing with no physicality. Notts County about 8/9 years since played some good stuff. It's a hoof ball league if you want it to be. These are professional players and could really take teams apart if they were let free. What's the point of paying good money to some of these big wage earners if they aren't allowed to express themselves?

    They were no worse than us today, in fact at times they were the only team to try and play football. Said before the only difference in this division is a bit of consistency, it's football that sucks the life out of you, why it's imperative we get out at the first attempt.

    How were the penalties "lucky" today? Both stonewall from what I saw. Good movement from city on both to attract the fouls.

    That was dire , really really dire

    Why cant we string 3 passes together and insist on either hoofing the ball to no one or loosing possession

    We just kept inviting them back into our area

    We didnt deserve that win ... no bloody way

    We won ok it was not pretty but 4 clean sheets out of 5 games now since playing the so called rubbish 3-5-2 formation just thought I would add that in to the debate.

    There seemed to be no point playing the midfielders today. Hoof after hoof from O'Connor and the other centre backs. It just came straight back. We need to play through the thirds more and keep possession.

    3 points and closer to our objective of going up, but we need to improve.
