They should've said "Then we're gonna dig whacking great trenches deep under the surface and fix the water-logging problems"

Yeah I get that it was more the comments about grass.... the updates and videos are pretty self explanatory! Lol

 

I was down on Tuesday and they are dumping all the old top layers against the back wall of the car park in front of the Sunwin Stand entrance, hope it stays dry for a few more days yet if that lot gets washed down the drains they'll have a big problem,

 

Fair comment as you say very little happening why not get the drone out and get a little more videoing of the work on a daily basis ?.

Just been down all the deep lying drainage is going in now . Will upload some pictures when the site allows . It should make so much difference once this work is complete . Edin was sat having his dinner in the stand admiring the works too

Some people commenting on here that this is the first new pitch since the 70's. My memory is tosh but i can remember drainage work like this being done before, mid-late 90's. Can even remember the pictures in the t&a.

 

I think someone posted it was the late 80s when it was last done and the drainage had a 30 year life span ?.

 

Sorry Broncs but im 100% it was late 90's maybe into the 2000's. I remember the pictures of the channels ready for the new drainage. Maybe not as deep as the ones today but new drainage none the less.
