Connolly looks a player for this level.
Ismael is quality.

Devine+Palmer is the most average boring combination you could imagine and needs to end.
Lets not forget Devine has been lingering at this club now for years, and never been remotely good enough to play games. Palmer is not much of an improvement. Hes a passenger. Cant believe Akpan gets the abuse he does with these 2 starting.

Cooke needs his chance. We are really short of a top central player now.
Cooke+Akpan should get a run together.

If he'd come from Farsley people might get off his back and see him for what hes good at.
Hes been one of the better players in the previous 2 games and is 10x the player Devine is. Rather have him than Palmer too. Atleast he gets up and down the pitch. Tries to drive forward.

Keith Curle is as bad as Parky for a one eyed view of proceedings. How about their entire team time wasting from the word go. How the keeper wasn’t booked? Interesting how quite a bit of the interview was about how GB apparently influenced the ref for the second half. Like feck he did. The ref was equally as shit for the whole of the second half as he was the first.

Yeah. Bowyer obviously influenced the ref to the extent that the crowd berated him for 45 mins and he sends our player off for 2 soft yellow while letting Northampton get away with time wasting.

These managers talk some proper crap at times.

Even Bowyer was at it - reckons were we excellent from start to finish today? No Gary. We were flat for 45, ok for 20 then very good for 25.

 

Great save by O'Donnell, doesn't show that great tackle from Wood but the 2nd yellow is a joke their player clearly starts the hand bags and Ismail does very little to warrant his second yellow and ultimately a red.

Im surprised that we havent talked about Donaldson's work rate .
I agree BRE was top class and improving but I thought Clayton was an inspiration especially in the first half when we needed something to happen.
He was still going strong stretching the oppo and keeping them busy.
Amazing stamina and workrate from a player who really cares.
I thought there were a lot of good things to take out of that performance.

 

The last twenty minutes today was the best we have played for two years.good entertainment as well corners missed chances and pressure more of that would be good

I'd go as far as to say he does less than very little, he does nothing at all. Disgraceful decision.
