    First 20 we were nervy. Then grew into game.

    Doyle doing nothing for me.

    Before the game my main concerns were lack of width, no left footer on the left, Doyle playing in that role, and Gibson and Anderson not being up to it.

    It’s all bearing out so far, though it’s obviously very early days.

    Had this discussion other day on here but where does Scannell fit in if he comes on with no left winger to balance it out?

    Replace Doyle with Scannell around the 65th minute mark. Super Sub ;).
    On for Doyle, move Vaughan to the centre of the middle three attackers and put Scannell on the right of the three.

    Good point. Give him a free role either side of Donaldson and Vaughan. Whatever role Doyle, Anderson and Gibson have been given, I think Scannell would do it better

    Doyle in the hole doesn't work. Gibson shouldnt be starting.

    Look at the bench it's weak as. Midfield is utter shi&e.

    Sorry Mr Rupp and Mr Rhodes we need to urgently spend some of that 2.5m we got.

    We definitely need a ball winning/holding midfielder and cover for our strikers! But we also need patience, with the new formation and tactics.
