    Ah, the sound of the Calmac Uig to Lochmaddy ferry, sounding its foghorn. Heavy sea mist with blue sky above, visually weird! Be us tomorrow very excited to see these thousands upon thousands of trouty lochs on North and South Uist as we drive south. And the sandy beaches of course :cool:

    It was very good indeed.

    Had to wait 45 minutes for a table.

    We also had the black daal, gunpowder potatoes, samosas and daughter had paneer tikka.

    The way the food was cooked reminded me of the food I used to eat in Mumbai when I worked there. I loved the daal with athick gravy. Daughter's paneer was excellent, tandoor-cooked with a coriander chutney.

    Will go again but it isn't cheap. Bundobust is preferable to me.
