Thanks for that. I may be getting on a bit but my hearing is very good and if this guy who tweeted heard it sat in with the City fans, then I would too as I was central in the main stand. I heard nothing and hope this isn't stirring for the sake of it.

 

If you were sitting with the City fans I don’t know how you failed to hear it Roger. It was very loud, very unpleasant and the person who tweeted it certainly wasn’t “stirring for the sake of it”

 

I was not with City fans but in the main stand across from our guys. I'm simply saying I was on the same side of the ground as the Rochdale fans and something like 100 yards nearer to them and didn't hear anything. Not looking for an argument just to get to the bottom of it. If the chanting was as loud as you say from where you say I think I and many others would have heard it, that's all I'm saying.

I think palmer is more in the mould of O'Brien than anyone else. We need a disciplined DM to allow palmer to have a bit more freedom imo.

Left wing, Left inside forward, Center forward, Right inside forward, Right wing,
and they didn't need their names on the back of their shirts, you could name the same starting 11 every game unless there were injuries .

 

Would we be cheeky enought to ask our neighbours down the road for another season long loan so he can experiance a team winning promotion.

 

When I started watching City in the mid sixties, players never seemed to miss games through injury. You could predict the team virtually every week, and if you look at team photos from the 60's and 70's, there were usually about 14 or 15 players in the squad.
One one substitute of course in them days too

 

I'm pretty sure the guy who posted it wouldn't be stirring for the sake of it, what would he gain from it? From his tweet i took it he was refering to Bradford fans, i'd expect Rochdale would hardly know who Tyrell Robinson is.

Yes I said it was the Rochdale fans but if you read my last comment, which you have replied to, I clearly say that re reading the tweet it actually doesn’t say. So my current position is I don’t know who the chants were from.

So now it's definitely our fans? I will work on that basis and will make Paula Watson aware when I see her tomorrow so she can be aware for Saturday.
