    hello from sunny Glasgow. Not a Bradford fan but I know who your next manager is. Ian Cathro. Young Scottish manager who has worked with the best. Worked under a Director of Football at hearts so I have been told this is the type of coach you lads want. Also won’t cost the earth unlike past managers. Give the man a chance. Had too much interference from Levein at Hearts so can’t be judged there. Knows the Morden game and if allowed to coach his way he has the makings to be top notch.

    That would definitely be a "football manager" appointment, never heard of him but if his style fits the attacking play our owners want then we could be moving in the right direction of he gets backed properly by the blokes upstairs

    100% not Ian. Take it or leave it. In my opinion it’s a big risk would not want at my club. Thistle. Then again could do no worse. Brave appointment that could turn out very well. Assisted at very big clubs

    No a ex footballer told me it’s happening. He will be part of the back team. He played for you guys years ago Andy Tod. He will be a his right hand man. In this set up a number 3 type.

    Think you've got a bit confused. He's also editing his posts.

    What he's saying is that (allegedly) the new manager will be someone who used to be an assistant at Hearts but will step up to manager (or whatever title) for the first time and his assistant is a former player. The former player may or may not be the one who told him - bit lost there.

    I'm taking it your on the level here Sammy.

    Not knocking the guy but a 31 year old with a 27% win record and no playing career is not what we should be looking for. I understand he has been a coach since he was 21 and has been well thought of as an assistant but we need a strong character prepared to give as good as he gets with our owners and have the respect of the players.

    If interference was a problem at Hearts he would have the same problem at Bradford. Sorry to be negative and good luck to the man but he needs some sort of record under his belt before we should be considering him (if we are).
