The food is a joke at city, even the hospitality food, it’s way overpriced for a 3 course meal for what it is. Really....

Why doesn’t City have its own beer and donate like 50p per pint of it too the academy over the season it’s enough for a bag of footballs for them

 

Not sure if the system at Alhambra is same as St George’s Hall but if so the drinks are just left out and people collect their own. Now this seems to work at the theatre but can not imagine it working at VP as someone would just help themself.

I have paid by contactless at City for ages now. Works a treat.

 

The OS has a stadium app that allows you to order and pay for food & drinks, during the game. You then walk up, show the verification code and collect.

Last time I went to watch City at the Ricoh the bars where open my mate drank his Heineken and Corn Dolly lads lined up at the real ale bar.

On a serious note, how about a couple of one man portable kiosks selling bottles of coke or water so you don't have to join the hot food and beer queue for a quick drink?

Also, locally sourced pies and pasties, I'd rather we went to Asa Nicholson or Weegman's and charged a little more for quality than massively mass produced dirge.

always found it slightly amusing that the difference between food from the kiosk and then the lounges and subsequently 1911 is essentially just pie, nicer pie on a plate, nicer pie on a fancy plate. I proper love pie but we could maybe diversify

 

For a start they need to get the basics right. Too many times over the last couple of seasons food and/or drink has sold out before half time. But you don't get to find this out until you've queued for 10 minutes.
I guess whatever we suggest is dictated by the current food and drink contracts the club has.
I like the idea of the individual kiosks being put up for tender and then inviting local businesses to bid for them.
The current system of one company running the whole thing means we get $h!t but at least it's consistent $h!t

 

Yep ...... The only option you get is take it or leave it. Judging by many responses on here, we're opting to leave it.
A bit of competition (within the 'rules') could / would change all that ....... The winners being the customer, as it should be !
