Oh come on, O’Donnell started the season well. To say he has been as bad as Wright is way off the mark.

He may have played lots of games, but at what level? At least O’Donnell has played at a decent standard throughout his career

Park, I had many a debate with you over Wright. You were wax lyrical over him. Don’t now claim otherwise, because you’ve now seen what the rest of us tried to tell you.!!!!

And keeps getting relegated and yet clubs still chase after him and sign him, till they get relegated and he leaves again

Still wonder if we'll see any movement with Scannell, huge wages but has what I think is undoubted talent but can we keep him fit and does he want to move?

Keeps? He’s only left 1 club so far after being relegated hasn’t he? How many times has the clubs he’s been with, got promoted whilst he’s been with them?

Not true I admit I thought we were signing a decent player and god forbid I may have argued with you over that. But I haven’t certainly based on what we have seen

Dont get all this O'Donnell bashing. I'm sure if you look back at some of the comments in the early part of the season, most were complimentary and he was seen as a more than adequate replacement for Doyle. The final 3rd of the season wasnt the best for him and I'm not saying I'd be disappointed if he left, but he wasnt the weakest link at the back surely

What are you talking about? Did you or did you not try to tell the rest of us we were signing a good player? You’ve only changed your mind because you’ve seen what the rest of us tried desperately to tell you.

Yes I did think we were signing a decent player based on his record. But that is not what you were accusing me of earlier. There were plenty of people who thought we were signing decent players in the summer who have all flopped.

You know football like Rahic anyone with any idea will tell you it was the unbalanced squad that caused most of our problems take Doyle he plays off a big man yet got asked to play the target man

The point of disapproval last season wasn't the players we were signing, it was the obvious lack of strategy.

We signed two centre forwards all summer. Tom Clare, who doesn't count, and Eoin Doyle.

Doyle was signed on the same day Wyke left. Wyke was already known to have been an inadequate physical presence up front, and he should have been paired with a hard working target man to reduce his burden - given his work rate was mediocre, and even in a Stuart McCall-led side, we just weren't good enough to outplay sides with Arsenal Invincible-esque glamour. So we replaced him with a guy with zero work ethic, and with as much chance of winning a header against a 5'5 full back as an Autumn leaf blowing in the breeze. Shockingly, Doyle had very little impact in a dog turd side.

We went on to sign the limitless relegatee that is Hope Akpan, paired him with Wright, a player with a dreadful report from his latest club, and added another dismal character in Anthony O'Connor. Three of our 'star signings' were either proven losers or pathetic locker room influences. Concerning.

Scannell and Mellor looked okay on paper, but immediately fell to injury on the back of a pathetic pre-season that did far more harm than good, and the other immature players we signed filled nobody with confidence given the previous "success" of a 'development squad'.

Sorry, @Park bantam@Park bantam, but people who thought we were signing decent individual players and defending the recruitment policy really only delayed the inevitable ousting of the most poisonous force in Bradford City's footballing history. That's not a legacy to be proud of.

That was exactly what I accused you of. Please quite where you believe I accused you of something different

Yes. Of course you are not alone in your thoughts. I will raise my hand, and admit that initially, I too felt City were signing some fair talent, last year ........ On paper.
However, the reality soon began to unfold it'self ...... Collins oversaw the most shambolic and structureless pre-season of any City side in my lifetime. As if that wasn't damaging enough, Collins laid back attitude on recruitment, with just one week remaining was a final indicator the lad was out of his depth, severely.
As supporters, our dwindling hopes of seeing four players coming in to give the side some balance, and competition - With none forthcoming soon had an effect on expectations. No longer were City thought to be Top six challengers, more like bottom half strugglers ...... and so it came to be.
On a third and final, but crucial point - The City side of 2018 / 2019 should have had enough about them to fight off relegation. And the reason for not doing so is in the question. The squad lacked fight in any and all capacities. No cohesion, and only the occasional glimpse of togetherness. The team suffered what they deserved, the supporters, however, didn't. The fans deserved, and should have had better.

In context I’ve just watched an apology for a forward all season. Hanson was better than what we’ve seen this year.

He confirmed he plans to stay mate unless the club don't want him. Some young kid put it on twitter or instagram. I remember seeing it last week

And that judgement comes despite seeing Hanson in flesh probably only once and Hanson scoring less than half the amount of goals over the season that Doyle scored?

To put it another way, you're talking nonsense.
