    It's interesting that when Burke and Cullen were here most people, me included, thought they would soon be established premier league players, maybe future internationals. But it hasn't really worked out like that for either of them which in a way supports the view I've had for some time that to find a reserve player's true level subtract two divisions, eg Championship reserves are really League 2 standard viz. Alex Jones.

    My post clearly says the OP is talking rubbish and that players from Rochdale are not all bad - especially as they finished above us and were not relegated. FFS

    Would love him here. Started his career with us, although only played 1 game. He has gone on to have a good career. Perhaps he fancies finishing his career with his home town club, definite captain material. I suspect though, that league 1 clubs will be in the running

    Cullen has been called up for Ireland, but it’s not a good Ireland team anymore. I was expecting Cullen to be playing at Championship level at least.

    He’s from Keighley so not too far away. I think he would be a great signing.

    That's true, but in my opinion he's vastly overrated. The rushes of blood he showed when he was here haven't left him, and I just think he's not big enough to be a top keeper. An Everton supporting friend of mine agrees.
