I too was 100% behind DH but am starting to change my mind after criticism of the fans for booing and him not getting the players to play the way he instructed them am beginning to think that the move from Livingston to Bradford was too soon in his managerial,career We also have to ask if he is the right man to keep us in L1 never mind get us out of the khazi league there are enough points to play for to keep us up but are the players and management capable of it or indeed up for the fight
Stefan allegedly has sunk 2 million in to keep us afloat or was it a last desperate hope to keep us a L1 club and protect his interest with one eye on selling, after watching on Saturday it's failed miserably
At some point we need to think of the future whichever league we are in and have one eye on next season Will the manager still be here will the owner still be here we know which players won't be here very soon we will stop tumbling and have to think to the future

We need to get back to pressing high from the front and forcing errors. This has to start with reverting back to two up top. The pitch is getting worse now and isn't suitable for pretty football.
I think we could see Woods and Mellor come straight back into the side. Mellor to play infront of Caddis and allowing Ball a more free role.

 

Not sure that's true the pitch is possibly as good it has been this time of year for many a season, against Fleetwood we never tried to bring the ball down and play pretty football, we can't play long ball with our set up yet we did just that from the kick off.

Draws are no good @Jason McKeown and others who thought a draw against Burton was a good result.

 

True enough to a degree, but we won't know for certain until the season is over. Was the Burton result no good if we end up in 20th, by 1 point? Our goal difference is bad enough that we don't want to chance being level on points with another side. A loss would definitely have been no good, and there's no guarantee that the result would have been a win for us.

Another loss for Walsall tonight. Probably a good result for us, sucks them further into it and Wimbledon stay 6 behind us despite the win. I'd be surprised if they don't have a different manager in charge by the time we go there in two weeks.

 

From what i've seen this season i'd have to disagree, i think we deserve to be in the bottom four. That attack and defence of ours is garbage. Some good individuals in midfield the only saving grace.

 

@Fordy117 you don't need to repeatedly tag me into posts, it's strange. Whilst I enjoy reading this site, I don't visit it often enough to reply to your tags and I'm not sure how you're expecting me to respond half the time anyway.

 

Agreed; the more teams within our reach the better. And that's their game in hand gone.

I am not a happy clapper by any stretch. It will be soon enough for me on the gloom and doom front if that happens. It would appear to me that posters are falling over themselves to predict we will go down if that happens or this happens. The facts are we don’t know it is still very wide open. We can look at our squad and be concerned, but that still doesn’t mean we will go down, it doesn’t mean we are even likely too, it certainly means we are up against it, and we will have to work hard. There are a number of teams in the scramble.

We can only play one match at a time, and hope that we see the team performing like they did in December, there was skill, there was fight, there was determination, and guts. If we pick up that pace then we will be alright and assess in the summer.

If we get relegated then I will be joining you in the doom and gloom, but don’t see the point in indulging in it when it is hasn’t happened. I don’t like horror films either, same reason I think, no point in frightening myself when it is fiction.
