    Its the nature of early ties that low crowds happen and then swell towards the later rounds. Charlton had less than 2,000 for their tie last night as an example.

    I don't blame anyone for staying away last night. It was always going to be a difficult match to navigate and especially so on a grim night. All eyes on Saturday.

    I didn't go because I refuse to give the club and Edin Rahic anymore of my money than I already laid out on my season ticket.

    it's difficult to justify spending even a tenner on our shower of shite at the moment.
    if that makes me a poor fan, or indeed a "pathetic happy clapper flag waver" so be it. can't say I'm bothered. Edin has ruined my club.


    I can't help but think the OP doesn't understand the definition of happy clapper though. the ones that went are the happy clappers, not those that are staying away.

    I will be there if we get a big boy in round 3 @Twinny@Twinny like Liverpool, Man United or Man City as I will want to get an autograph and selfie with one of my heroes. If I only get to choose one who should I go for, Eoin Doyle or Kai Bruenker?

    There last night! Do not understand your 'happy clappers' comment. Are you saying the 2278 did not clap enough last night? Happy Clappers are usually people who support everything the club does, without any question and feel it will always be 'alright'. As for a waiver, do you actually understand what the word means?

    But you said 'You will all show up in round three if we draw one of the big boys wont you , pathetic support happy clappers, flag waivers'. A waiver is an act or instance of waiving a right or claim. Or 'renunciation, surrender, repudiation, rejection, relinquishment, abdication, disavowal, refusal, disaffirmation, dispensation, abandonment, deferral'.

    I still struggle to understand why you were unhappy with some of the 'Happy Clappers', who will all of been at last night' game (unless ill health or work kept them away). Virtually everyone on here accepts that 'Happy Clappers' in respect of City are, 'evangelical' supporters in which members of the crowd sing and clap enthusiastically during games! They have a view that they do not question anything, are behind everything the club does and that all people with the club are beyond criticism.

    Unless someone connected with the club disagrees with or criticises the chairman, or does something he doesn't like (like asking Richmond for a new contract), and finds himself dropped or sacked, then the happy clappers will turn on that person with a vengeance.

    Yeah good on you, priority for the club's biggest ever defeat. And if it's at home another 18000 tickets available and if it's away another 7000 available. Not sure priority will be available and I'll catch it on a stream from the comfort of my armchair.
