Not overly enamoured with the mission statement, reminds of the republican communiques in the Spanish civil war, cobbled together merged/diluted opinions = blahness. Disappointing.

Still, just like the the fly by, I'll go with it. (Whatever "it" is).........

And I still don't see what Rupp has done to deserve any criticism and we need to tread carefully there if he is left holding the reigns of something he's not that interested in. We don't want to make him wish he'd never got involved.

I agree.. do we really want Rupp out

Has he really done anything wrong other than appointing a fool he trusted

I think most would be happy if Edin did one and Rupp brought in someone else who really knew football

Agree to a point. But, having seen the mess Rahic was delivering and the mistakes being made, as main investor he should have stepped in. Allowing his partner to continue to run the business into the ground makes him liable in my eyes.

Even now, seeing thousands of fans staying away because they are not happy with Rahic’s involvement, and he still doesn’t step in to remove him.

What has he done? Nothing and that is the point. It’s not what he has done, it’s what he isn’t doing that makes him just as responsible....!

I understand @king karl@king karl position. However, at the very least Rupp is guilty of neglect. For me he needs to get his act together and quick, and let us know what his plans are to rectify the wreckage. The fact that he decided to make a statement is a start, the content we have heard before, we have heard support for a manager, and watched him being sacked.

If it is more of the same, he is just as culpable as Rahic.

In fairness to Rupp, none of us have any real idea on how the two of them agreed to run the club or whether there are things going on behind the scenes between the two of them. I can't imagine for one moment that somebody who has put €5mill of his own money into buying our club and has seen what's happened on and off the pitch will be thrilled at the prospect of losing much of his original investment. He might not have an interest in football but I bet he has a big interest in his bank account.

Rupp's latest announcement is disappointing and little more than a regurge of what he and Rahic said about 9 months ago. But I'm not sure what I would have expected. I would have preferred him to have said 'we're selling up to some wealthy fans who can take this club forward' but that's my wishful thinking. Until there are alternative investors who are willing to buy the club from R&R, unfortunately we are stuck with both of them.

Statement looks good. For me there are 2 clear outcomes, but both include Rahic leaving.

    1) Rupp sacks him, buys him out and puts a Director Of Football AND an experienced CEO in place.
    2) They both sell up and leave.

It also needs to be stated, may be not in the statement, but prior & during the protests that Anti-German chants are not welcome. They are counter productive as they give Rahic an excuse to say, “look, they are just a bunch of racists, don’t take them seriously.”

@Bantam42@Bantam42 and @CL89@CL89 Any further developments from the SOCers on plans to hold a demonstration or an organised boycott at VP in the near future?

Or is the plan to wait until you're sure that Rahic will be at VP for the game?

    Afternoon Everyone,

Sorry work has been getting in the way this week, that and a few personal retorts on the old Twitter platform made me question what's the actual point of trying for change and putting ourselves out there.

We had a meeting on Monday night and went through a host of ways we can progress.
Our next plan is to get an open meeting arranged where we invite everyone to come along and discuss what YOU think our next steps should be, go through the conversations I've had with a contact from Charlton (C.A.R.D) protest group and basically see if we have the numbers to hold a "protest march"
The game which we've got in mind is our next home game, Saturday 24th November, Oxford.
Proper planning will need to be in place not only with the Authorities but banners, flags & whistles will need to be sorted to make this a colourful, noisy and more importantly a peaceful march!
What we don't want is us going through the costings of the above for only 10 people to turn up so we as fans need to properly get our heads together and go through the rights & wrongs of our Football Clubs situation.

I honestly didn't think the flyover had legs we all know how tight us Yorkshire folk are with our money but to me smashing the target the way Jon has done only goes to show how angry, upset, concerned (I could go on) we all are about our Football Club.

I completely understand not everyone backs the flyover or SOC1903 we don't want to upset anyone but a time for a change at the top is needed. In my opinion, BCST have had more than enough chances to try open dialogue with ER & SR and the softly softly approach doesn't work anymore, we ALL need answers, maybe by protesting and showing just how angry, upset, concerned we are they "might" sit up and take notice "might".
