From where I was sitting, it appeared to be people at the back of the room and those queuing around the bar area who were talking. The players were sitting just to my right and were sitting quietly whenever I looked across at them.

 

and there you have it a nutshell. A good league 1 player wanting to stay, manager saying he wants him to stay, but no Rahic deliberately antagonising a player, and leaving him out on a limb.

That my fellow supporters is why we are in the quagmire. We are being run by an egostitical man who will have his own way no matter what. No proper business man would run his business like this.

Well have to disagree IMO they promote Tom & Dom.

 

Dave Baldwin knows exactly whats going on at Valley Parade and inside our club.

 

Two months earlier we gave new contracts to Killa, NKP & Vincelot.

You can understand why McMahon was pi$$ed off.

We will have paid to get 2 of those 3 off the books and the other is probably the worst central defender we've had for 7 or 8 years.

 

But we lost and let in 4 goals.

He makes far too many mistakes and gets dragged all over the pitch.

Him and NKP are a liability.

 

Are people really that foolish to think that the man who owns 80% of the club in Rupps won't have a say in the matters?

Rupp is more to blame than Edin in my eyes.

 

Of course he is involved, plus in my own mind he was just as culpable for the sacking of Stuart as Rahic was. Plus this is why you should know the business you are in investing, Rupp doesn’t know football, neither does Rahic, and there lies the problem. Rupp needs to think pragmatically on this regardless of what Rahic is saying; he needs somebody in charge who actually does know football, and has a proven cv to go with it.

 

They made it very plain tor everyone attending we all know where the trouble lies., I believe it was said and repeated for the present squad players who were in attendance, so much so that Gary Jones actually addressed the players and said produce give 100% and these fans will be right behind you.

 

Yes that was nice to hear from Morais, good job Nahki wasnt there commenting on how some of our fans treated him at Preston.

 

Sorry mate, there’s lots of players you can have a go at this season but O’Connor isn’t one of them.

To be honest, I think it's decent our current squad were there, as it must be pretty awkward for them. It'd be like attending your current girlfriends tribute to all the past boyfriends she'd had, and how much better they were than you!

I'd also be the same if I was there - would want to listen to the event, rather than crowd around the current players asking for selfies. I think just a nod of appreciation would be as far as I would go.

Lets hope something clicks with the team after this. Shame it's Pompey - but we can hope!

Exactly, even more awkward for them. That's what I'm saying - they turned up knowing that they may be better equipped, but the girlfriend enjoyed the others performances much better (and still thinks about them with glassy eyes)!

 

Hope you followed him round all night looking for any noticeable changes in any obvious back issues like a wince in the face, some light back stretches, maybe touching the problem area. Good work Bigrod.
