I’m with you on this. There is a vocal group of fans who seem totally set on remaining negative regardless of what happens. I do wonder why some people bother. Supporting a football team is supposed to be a positive in your life not a negative. The way some people talk on here I think they’d be better off just walking away from City if it’s got them this depressed.

It’s not great viewing at the moment but you’ve got to keep the faith that it’ll get better. Maybe it’s blind optimism but the alternative seems to be complete doom and gloom which seems far worse than trying to pick out a few positives.

Had we still been under Collins - or even Grayson, I may have both smiled, and agreed.
But then - I'm sure Grayson would have had a better pre-season planned - if nowt else ?

But now it's all down to Hopkin ...........
With a wasted 'pre-season' already under our belts - DH has had to start yet another, along with an injury list that would stretch the A&E resources at the BRI !!

Hopefully, we'll be in a position to justify an influx of 4 to 6 quality signings in January (early !!!!!! ), but then Hopkin faces yet another 'pre-season' to gel them all.
In the meantime, performances have improved, and if they continue to do so, results will follow.

Depending on where we lay in the Lge Table, and January recruitment, means I will keep my powder dry, for now. It's been hard for us all, but recovery is not beyond impossible, so I for one will make no rash forecasts, or enter hysteria.

 

First league win awaits us v the gas.
Performances have steadily improved and the players are actuallu trying and like it or not we are 100% fitter and looking stronger at the end of games.
Its only a matter of time before we gwt this win then a run of 2 or 3 more wins and odd point in a little cluster of six or so games and the whole picture changes.
We still have time to make a go of it this season stay positive get behind the manager and players and leave the finger pointing at edin etc truly at home.

Yes we have an injury list, but it's down to those fit players to perform, and make those returning fight and train hard for a place. Without that mentality, City are as good as down, already. I'm sure Hopkin has made this clear to the squad.

As in @Bigrod post - I agree, and predict a cagey 1 - 1.
It may be just a small step, but I'd rather lots of those, than just one big one, now and again.

Every message on this forum is irrelevant hyperbole. Everyone could predict a 5-0 thrashing, but it won't stop us winning if that's what's going to happen. That also applies in reverse.

People do like to get bent out of shape about what other people post, but you're not achieving anything by taking one view or another.

You are, however, achieving even less somehow by moaning about someone else's viewpoint. That's almost an achievement in itself!

 

What you don't seem to realise is that it has nothing to do with the coach or the team which I get behind 100% but why should I get behind owners that wouldn't be told things were wrong until its too late. Don't you find it strange that Grayson took over after the window was closed and hey presto just after this one closes they appoint hopkin but everything's fine in your world I would say depressed is a bit of an over statement I'd say very concerned and not hoodwinked easily fits better.

What we really need is to start throwing hope parties, where we all join hands and start willing results into being.

We will say only super positive things and everyone has smile the whole time. Oh, and forget the old 'if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing' get put clause. You have to be positive on EVERY topic.
