    Didn’t the Carlsberg signs come down when Lawn/Rhodes got the group of smaller businesses to split the sponsorship? I remember Robert Watts and Mitton? Being two of them but not sure who the others were. They had signs up along the front top of the kop where the Carlsberg sign used to be

    The sponsorship issue is interesting. Both on here and previously on C&B, lots of posters insist on calling the Main Stand/West Stand, the Sunwin! It has not been the Sunwin stand for ages.
    It was subsequently called the Co-operative Stand and is now the JCT stand (also known as the West Stand).

    The point I am making, is that changing sponsorship, makes little difference for many fans.

    I have never been in Napoleon’s. The fact that they have been a sponsor, will not affect my decision to visit that establishment.

    When I bought a car from JCT, I gained no benefit for being a Bradford City Season Ticket holder. My decision was based on hard nosed economics, in that they came up with the best deal.

    Started as Bronco Layne on C&B then shorten it to Bronco, no disrespect taken, there will be times when posters disagree and that's fine exactly what the message board is all about, but as long as it doesn't get personal I don't have a problem.
    Strangely enough I'm finding Bantam Talk better for self moderating than C&B.

    Why would Napoleons get into a spat with the club I believe the people who run the Casino are big City fans and have supported the club and football generally within the City very well.

    I wasn't aware that posting something an associate had given me was breaking forum rules.

    Still not sure I remember you, although I did go through a phase of not posting as much.

    It's not breaking forum rules, none have been broken

    I am not sure Napoleons would get into a spat but I also very much doubt the account given on here and just think it was a deal which came to end like many in businesses up and down the land, and we have just found a new sponsor for the 1911 club.

    May be the terms of the sponsorship deals done are less than the old deals. I guess they could have got the suite sponsorship in return for floor mats & a full tank of diesel on the Rahic’s new motor?
