Nah again Just Looking - part of the issue is as 'names' some of the summer signings looked quite good acquisitions but it always seemed to me like we were just stock-piling without any clear sense of how it would all come together. How could it without the manager/coach in place who would have to join all the pieces

 

We shouldn't really need to be doing this if pre season hadn't been such a farce, recruitment being left to a ridiculously incompetent 3 pronged coaching appointment and edin, and then trying to close the stable door after the horse has bolted, by bringing in a more experienced gaffer just as the window closed.

Why do we keep having to hear Edin will lean or in your reply Edin obviously learnt, no he hasn't, any one who knew anything about football would have promoted Micheal Collins, Edin hung the lad out to dry, IMO a cheap option and secondly someone I believe Edin could manipulate because of that very reason of his dramatic rise from youth level. The lad showed so much interest in the job that he never applied for it maybe expecting one of the quality candidates who applied would have been successful, your no fool @Just Looking but if you believe your above comments I have to believe your after a rise from members of this forum

 

Someone of the Karl Henry mould would be good. Especially for games like yesterday when we have a lead to protect. Direct players and getting the foot in at the right time.

I find it hard to understand how anyone can justify having to bring players in who can't get a club when we have heard from the very first transfer window we will learn and be ready for future transfer window.

Maybe the majority share holder should be getting involved and offer a statement on behalf of his club, I forgot who posted it the other day saying any other business where the CEO/CCO/DOF had made so many mistakes would not still be in a job, how many more times is Stefan prepared to give this incompetent another chance.
I posted this seasons debacle had set the club back 2 months, watching yesterdays game even Hopkin might struggle to get this squad sorted by the end of September, especially if were needing to prop up certain positions with out of contract players we can bring in but maybe a couple of old heads might be the answer.
