. Manningham station is out of shot. Go to the end of Midland Rd at Queens road turn tight go down 20 yards opposite side of road is a slope down to the stone yard. The stone yard was created out of the station. That was the station forecourt. Manningham steam shed entrance was to be found at the top of the junction where Bolton Lane leaves Queens Rd. Clarke’s engineering of old where the Ripper worked was built on the shed land after demolition. -

In my first year at Bradford Uni (80/81) there was a student disco at the 'Cricket Club' (ie the upstairs big room in the pavilion) most nights.
In my 2nd - 4th years I lived in a student house - 79 Cecil Avenue - just up the road from the cricket ground and the decaying remains of BPA football ground. -
