Yep. However they were wrong. It may have been short of numbers but high on quality and character.

Unfortunately pretty much every move the club (and ALL involved with it) since that time have reversed that situation.

 

Yes those two element's were always a requirment under Parky.
Oh for the likes of a Jones, Davies, McArdle, Meredith in this side, then again we do have Kilgallon a player with both those qualities but not good enought to force himself into the match day 18, very strange.

 

As far as I am aware there are no faultless managers or people for that matter. I don’t think anyone is suggesting he was faultless. So now can we address what is actually happening now? Nice attempt to change the conversation though.

Yes, it's another good commentary on the mess that we've become. So sad also to read, in the comments there but also on various threads here, so many long-standing supporters who are losing, or have lost, their desire to go to matches.

I was hopeful that after last season lessons had indeed been learnt, and the summer recruitment had me crawling back at least to within reach of the fence I'd fallen from. But since then the Shrewsbury match has been about the only good thing to happen, and that fence is now a vanishingly small line on the horizon.

I doubt that Rahic will change, given what his character/personality seems to be, unless forced to, by either widespread supporter protests or, more likely, pressure from Rupp.

@City-since-67 seems to think we have no vacancies at the club, maybe the personel responcable for the above being brought up to date ETC needs a kick up the aris.

 

Just seen that the supporters trust is meeting tonight and would like fans' opinions on what should be done on their part.

Yes otherwise the owners will say that no complained etc? If the option is there of giving feedback and you want something changing use it otherwise nothing will change, I'm not saying it will change but it has to improve the chances. They really should have been asking for the feedback for the past few weeks though

 

Seems their choice is a fans' meeting or 'insisting' on a Trust/Edin meeting. Edin needs to do himself a favour and open up some channels of communication with supporters.

Though reading between the lines not sure he himself is directly involved in the Trust, maybe someone knows the answer to this? As he states though, the club must recognise them as per its own charter.
