Grimsby want to run around and press and stick a foot in. Well let them do that by chasing the ball from side to side. Just shows zero match awareness from our midfield. Stop the stupid flicks and punts in the air and pass the ball from side to side.

 

Looks like we've reverted back to the shape that started against Tranmere with Smallwood holding and Oduor & Walker either side as no 8s.

And Doyle. For some reason, he looks like he's playing more of the assistant manager role, than whoever it is who is meant to be our assistant manager. Lucketti?

 

He is unable to lift the players, this should have been sorted at half time, surely this his remit, such a dire performance

 

Lets be realistic though, they are capable of more as we have seen in spells this term. GA got the plaudits when we hit form, he can get the pelters when we are woeful.

He is shite. Another poor appointment who wont last imo.

Get rid when his contracts up at the end of the season and get someone else who offers more and costs a lot less

Simple really. We are not going to lose a lot and hopefully have more to gain

 

He's a nice guy is Graham Alexander but he's tactically inept and particularly awful any time we're behind and chasing the game. His unwillingness to change formations in a match is particularly notable.

Hughes ball was awful, but it was nothing compared to the last 3 or 4 weeks. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we've not really done anything different or better since he left.

If GA doesn't get sacked or walk in the summer (a DOF introduction is a chance for either to happen), then I don't see him lasting past October if we aren't in the top end chasing pack.

 

Back to the City we've seen all season complete lack of any urgency, no creativity, lack of quality and alot of standing around ball watching! Absolutely infuriating to watch.
