I doubt we’ll come up against many better keepers in league 2. Excellent football and played on the deck. Just goes to show that keeping possession bears more chances than hoofing to Cook. Well done lads, no shame on Stubbs. I had a feeling an error would cost us, just a shame it happened so late on with no chance to respond.

 

Kavanagh cook and young. And a tad of wright now that’s some play off forward line. Well done boys very impressed. Stubbs you played well mate.

Yes 2 perfect examples from corners were tomkinson being dragged to ground nothing given....smith barely touches the keeper free kick straight away

Despite the conditions, a good game to watch and I thought we played some lovely stuff on that pudding of a pitch.

Every player played well tonight, toss uo between Kavanagh and Odour for MOTM for City.

Credit to their keeper who pulled off some great saves.

Wasn't to be, I'm not too downhearted, let's go on and have an unlikely push for the play offs now.

 

Great team performance tonight if Odour can keep putting those sort of performances in till the end of the season we'll be in the shake up.
McDonald is a breath of fresh air when ever he got the ball it was a positive forward pass, I know this will sound bad but 3 times first half Smallwood had the ball just outside the box and not once had a go, he's proved in the past he can hit a ball for crying out load Ritchie have a bloody shot, although it was written in the stars that keeper wasn't going to get beat tonight.
Dust ourselves down and go again at Barrow , we owe them for their taking 3 points at Valley Parade.

 

Big 3 days now to get them up for a very tricky game on Saturday.
Will be down after that late kick in the knackers but GA’s job is obviously to focus on the massive positives that were on show tonight.

Everything Odour does up to shooting on goal is very good.

Saw Peterborough last night and they were a different level to Wycombe.
