That’s why it was always going to be a waste of time.
No opportunity for the question asker to respond makes the whole thing a complete charade.

The first question was “ How do you think the season has gone so far?”

What a ridiculous waste of a few minutes while they all say it’s not going as planned but there’s still plenty of the season left.

 

I'm still angry about Sparks new definition of the 'there is no room for mediocrity at this football club' statement, so I've been back to have a listen to the interview when he first said it to see if I had misrembered it. I hadn't. Here are some of the other things he said in that interview that proves what he said about it tonight is complete tosh.

'Being in league 2 is not something we as a football club are comfortable with at all, it doesn't work for this football club on a number of levels and we need to be in the third tier at the very least and we need to get there quickly.'

'I am obviously aiming high, I'm aiming to get us out of this division.'

'We have to bring success back to this football club because it has forgotten what it means and I want to have product on the pitch that matches my ambition for the football club'.

Also, remember that 2 seasons ago he said that anything less than promotion would be seen as failure, but now the vision is sustainability and keeping the business alive. The man is a complete and utter charlatan.

I hate to say this but why renew. There is zero ownership coming from sparks. He is at the helm. His idea of mediocre isn’t aligned with what the club sell at the start of every ST campaign. He has failed. Time to go.

 

Sparks is essentially marking his own homework 1/10 = mediocre when 7/10 was sold as mediocre at the start of the season.
In any other job as a CEO he would have been removed.

 

His banter is vicious at the moment.

Sparks should simply resign after that performance - he takes us all for fools, contradicts himself and out of his depth

Gent?? Talk about uninspiring!! But listening to him tonight paints a much clearer picture on why our recruitment has failed

And Alexander, probably shouldn't have been there as a shield for the muppet brothers but he increasingly doesn't fill me with much hope

According to Ryan Sparks tonight. Don't you think it's odd he has never mentioned this before?
Now, I'm not trying to stick up for Rupp, but I do remember him saying after he got rid of Edin that the fans deserved so much more and he wanted to at least get us back to where we were when he and Rahic bought us. That means that at least one of them is lying, or maybe they both are.

There were some anti Sparks chants in NW corner vs Wimbledon. Wonder if they will be more vociferous after tonight (not that Rupp will be around to hear).

 

I said earlier that the fact that some people who posed questions actually apologised for asking a tricky question.
