Parker's on Twitter just now pointing out the article seems to have been taken down. Regardless, if anyone at the club is thinking about getting rid of GA then they have to realise it's only moving deckchairs on the Titanic. The reason the ship is sinking isn't down to the guy in the engine room, it's because the Captain and First Mate have steered us in the wrong direction.

 

Plus a set of fans who are now equally bored!

You haven't replied to my other post, so I'm picking this one up. The organisation that first posted about this is pretty reputable. They have been running for some time. They have a blog, podcast and run numerous social media channels. They employ a number of people. One of those who runs it is very close to the Club and is a fan.

You need to be careful about who you are calling idiots. I get that you are angry, confused, in disagreement but wind your neck in a bit, eh? They have a decent track record with news and transfers and are well connected.

The most interesting tit-bit that I picked up was about a rumour that GA wanted Young to play asap and the club didn't. This may be the cause of some of the disagreements that have now surfaced on social media.

 

Refute these rumours!

Sparks do some proper comms for goodness sake. It’s not all calm waters, sometimes you have to steady the ship. Get some sound bites about how you’ve excelled in certain quarters, but other aspects of your job you’re still finding your feet. Hold your hands up.

Rupp, back up Sparks words with some positive vibes about the transfer market and the way forward. Acknowledge that we’re going through a rough patch and show some empathy towards the fans. You’re fully invested in the club both personally and financially.

GA give a rallying call. Looking to get the squad and formation you want finalised and streamlined. Results haven’t been good and you’re hurting and desperate to turn it around. With the backing of Rupp and Sparks you can see a way forward. Back yourself.

Smallwood give an open and honest interview to Parker about how you want to pull the team out of the mire. Recent performances on a personal level haven’t been befitting for a captain. You’re going to get the boys together and get things sorted.

Taking an article down doesn't mean it's wrong. In fact, it may have been closer to the truth but now perhaps Ryan and GA have spoken and mended the bridge.

This is something I always noticed with other clubs. Engagement. Other clubs seem to do it really well while we get barely anything.
We don’t really get any fan engagement from players on the numerous social media platforms.
We don’t seem to have anyone ever fronting up or pulling together within the club at all.
This could have been put to bed within the hour of the article coming out yet Sparks is sitting on his hands doing absolutely nothing. Happy to come out and slag Derek Adams off when it suits but when it comes to actually trying to put fans mind at rest or deal with rumours like we’ve seen this afternoon then he is absolutely silent. The bloke is beyond useless.

 

I believe it more now the article has been taken down. The club would have better chance of getting me to believe it if they came out and issued a statement. It is called backing your manager and not undermining him. It is too late to take it down. You believe what you want as we all do, but wishing ppl lose their jobs is petty and should be beneath you.

 

Yep, can't see him making it past February with the way we are playing. Wrexham average 3 goals per home game this season, I'd imagine a thumping there coupled with a bad result on Saturday might have people talking.

 

I think the damage may already have been done. Not necessarily in regards to the article but GA and RS must be well aware of current fans disquiet. SR won't have a clue as still nowhere to be seen
