Some of those will not gain promotion, leaving a big debt to be covered by the owners.
it would be nice to have an owner willing to lose some of their wealth with no return.
how much of Rupp's wealth is assets , not hard cash.

No suggestion of wanting to see the club crash have over 50 years invested
Starving him of income can only make him sit up and take notice/react
The last thing a business man of his stature wants in his portfolio is failure
As you say it's a battle of wits

If only we had an interested owner, Sparks would’ve been moved on or moved sideways by now. We’re almost as far away now as when Sparks took over. Unfortunately as long as we are in EFL, Rupp maintains the bragging rights over his mates over in Germany.

He has little or no interest in our club, I'm sure if someone met his asking price whatever that is he'd sell, I give him credit that he was not taken in by the crypto guys although he's a wealthy man does he need any hassle that he might see from fans.
I know its only paper talk at the moment but on reading other media with regards Bradford City many are saying enough is enough, it will be interesting to hear what comes out of Monday night gathering at the Latvian Club are they putting any proposals forward to get fan involvement.

Nobody knows that for sure but even if it was at least one party was willing to pay. Put the club for sale and let’s see what interest there is

Football is a strange business, arguably one of the only businesses where owners seem happy to spend money they haven't got and with no genuine hope of getting it back other than to hit the jackpot by selling a player for millions. Maybe Stefan Rupp would have been better served talking to common sense football fans rather than his financial advisor, they'd have told him was raving mad to even think about investing in a football club with the intention of making a profit

That's why I listed "reported" if that valuation is correct I don't expect many knocking his door down
You seem confident that valuation would/could have been met
Please enlighten me at that valuation what makes it a viable proposition am struggling with it

Oh don't get me wrong, I think he'd sell, for the right price. Which is likely over inflated. And i personally suspect that his apathy and lack of proactively engineering a sale, is because he's taking dividends. My point is, having an openess to sell is different to putting something on the market. You put any asset on the market, and you're showing your hand. The price comes down straight away.

And therein lies the point. How can we shift him from his apathy.

I would be reluctant to contribute further to Bradford City given we have wasted money on players and nobody is owning up to this. I paid £603 over the last year for an ex seat for a catering service I cannot refuse. The food from the contractors is abysmal and I won’t touch it. I can have a drink and the toilet facilities are much better. Great view as well. However, I would need some convincing to do so again when my primary reason for attending is poor.

Nevertheless I haven’t given up altogether, but I want to see some acknowledgment from the management group what has happened and not a series of guff posted in the TA as engagement with fans!

Then I want a plan, not “we want promotion “ with an action plan attached plus timescales including if we need more expertise then so be it we employ that expertise. Not just expecting managers to somehow paper over the huge mistakes he was not present or had any input. Or expecting him to somehow weave his magic with the ill thought current squad.

So if Bradford City want to keep milking my bank account I suggest they get their skates on tic tock.

I don’t know but he is owed 1.7 million in loans for a start unless there is serious negotiations we don’t know how much he would accept

Common sense football fans are rare as hens teeth and that’s one massive problem with supporter buy outs. Those who tend to shout the longest and loudest tend to win over the common sense fans you speak of RT….a rocky road to ruination sadly.

As they say in dragons den…….Im out?

Well there is more than one way of fans being involved not just the linear way of thinking. I want to keep my mind open including allowing fans their say including the ones that may not have looked at the broader picture. It doesn’t mean they lack common sense or shout down others views either. They are passionate ppl and I would say we have lacked passion in the management group. Don’t shut ppl down before we have had a proper widespread discussion.

I wouldn't trust anyone with the motivation to start this. Look at those various money platforms like JustGiving, where most of the money gets stolen. You'll always have some muppet wanting to be the face of it all and will probably input the least amount of money, if any at all

Wrong end of the stick, I’m offering my opinion, not suggesting what others do ! If they want to proceed good luck to them . I won’t be involved, even though entirely and easily affordable I would be asking people who know nothing about running a football club to spend my money?

One only has to read this forum to see what would transpire.

Passion won’t run a business, if the skills aren’t there to run it successfully. YES or NO ?

There's an old saying that begins, “those who scream the loudest…”, which generally ends with the implication that they themselves have the most to hide. Perhaps they feel that vocal opposition and the implication that they are “doing good” serves as a counterbalance to something “really bad” they are also doing?

These old sayings originate for a reason …They are TRUE.

Irrelevant isn't it ? Our EFL share is worth no more or less than Suttons or Leicesters.

What devalues the club is its league position and/ or its financial standing.

Well if you can keep calm for a min. I wouldn’t remotely suggest we have ppl running the club who do not have the skill set, although the current incumbents are not exactly overflowing with skills. If I ever win the lottery I would immediately bring in the very best ppl to run it. There would be no spending nilly willy either. As to the paragraph talking about bad and good behaviour I will leave it with you.

You have to ask how a very successful businessman could get involved with regards a comment from his bank manager, you'd have though the least he'd have done was. paid someone to do a back ground check on his fellow potential partner Edin Rahic, one thing for sure I'd be changing my bank.

Let's have a collection and we fans put an advertisement in a couple of prominent newspapers in the UK and Germany saying English football club for sale owner reluctant to make it public knowledge but fans right behind any sale to potential new owners, no time wasters Edin Rahic need not apply.

I won £4.20 on Euromillions last night. I'd be prepared to risk at least half of my winnings on a fans buyout.

Seriously though, I might be willing be invest a small amount if I had any idea whatsoever how it could work. We all have the club in our hearts and want the best but even if the money could be raised I just can't see it working
