Just shows weakness and opens us up to it happening again and again.

 

It is definitely stick to our guns time! If after the window closes he cannot accept the result then rather than disrupting the team he will have to train away from the team. I am sure GA has a plan for that sort of behaviour.

 

Why does everyone assume he is going to be disruptive if he stays? There are an awful lot of assumptions being made. If he doesn't want to be here, I don't blame him.

 

Thats what some presume ......... if hes training and hes turning up to games then it doesnt look like hes being disruptive does it

 

I know. I think it is all the dishonesty around his coming back tbh. His ability to play with an injury at Swindon but not here, which our club apparently allowed. We have had no buzzing video etc., Yet our manager and presumably R/S wants him to stay and play for us. Yet here we are nearly at the end of the window with a couple of clubs who were interested in buying him but not at the price we have set. I personally think it would be incredibly sabotage of his own career to go down the negative route which I don’t think he will as he has lots to prove to the fans here and elsewhere that he is a goal scorer no matter where he plies his trade.

 

The only folk being dishonest are the club ........he did come back with a knock even Swindon said so but since then hes been training and been at games .............GA has said he would pick him so hes clearly fit so why isnt he ?????

Because WE want to cash in. I don't think he's doing anything wrong. If he's worth £300,000 to other clubs, he's worth £300,000 to us. Give him a new contract and play him. It's double standards.

 

That’s a different debate altogether . I don’t think anyone has said he’s going to be disruptive anywhere on this forum . After working for two employers for 50 years I’d always want higher pay, I always wanted a different boss….thats life!

Just advise this please . He doesnt get the transfer you suggest, because we won’t sell him for pennies, yet he doesn’t want to be here , seemingly (?) doesn’t want to play , then what do you propose ?

Everyone is ducking that question and therefore not providing a solution.

 

Sadly folk simply cannot see whats right there ............ the club clearly want the money yet some are claiming Young is the issue

Honestly i bet he cannot wait to get away from this shower of shit and if he does go to Carlisle and they do drop then i can put money on they will be back out of this league before us.

He didn’t really deliver for us, didn’t do anything at Barrow, had a golden spell being reed up by Dan Kemp at Swindon.
I don’t think he’s earned a new (presumably improved) contract

 

Or maybe he was simply suited to Swindons style of play or maybe the reason he didnt do well here is down to an arrogant loon who simply didnt fancy him.

Yes he may have had a golden spell there but what to say that aint the sign of things to come for him

I would give him a better goal bonus and that is it. He scores and gets more goals no problem he has earned it.

I see Carlisle have announced the signing of Jack Diamond that was rumoured the other day. Wonder if that will put an end to their interest in Young.

 

I have never heard of Andy Cook being called an arrogant loon…..According to some
