Hopefully means the end of the wing back system.

    Wright is a winger.

In fairness, most of us spotted when he played last season his body language wasn't great. He's never looked 'full throttle' to me, in particular out of possession. Bali is getting some criticism bit he's always full throttle and you need that intensity in a blood and thunder Championship game.
Unfortunately he just hasn't shown that enough in his cameos to warrant more of a chance.

In fairness to Plymouth fans, they feel a move would best benefit the kid.

Yes and their fans say that's not his position and he hasn't been playing well there.

Good luck to him. Started to run into some form before he left.

He needs to be starting so let's hope he's kicked on a bit at Plymouth.

Does this mean we're sticking with 3-4-3?

Really not sure about this... He had a great 6 months but nothing before and nothing after

Possibly a bit like Jake young TBH.. should never get back with an ex

Hope he or both prove me wrong

He isn't a left wing back, Park. Why do you want to play someone out of position?

Didn't see this coming but wish him well.
I have to say though I'm always a bit sceptical when a player returns because you have something to compare from their previous time with us.
Fingers crossed he can make an impression.

I cant help feeling a little bit of cynicism at the club bringing him in at this moment! ... I'll stop the negative vibe..

Good to see him, hope he fits in well and helps the squad perform better.

Good to have him back. Can't see him playing as a wing back but he's a player that can find in a 343 as a winger and a 352 as a striker.

I think this confirms what we all suspect that Young is going as Wright will be an over 21 player and we only had 1 space available going into January so must mean we've not registered Young in our playing squad.

Another example of a player doing well on loan and then thinking he was better than he is.
At least he admits he let the fans down by leaving last January.
I hope he does well for us and we sign him permanently in the summer as I really can’t see him featuring for Plymouth again.

He could play up top instead of Smith. He did that with Oliver for a couple of games. I'd prefer him wide in a three.

Either way, just feels too little too late.

Plymouth played him there in a game I watched. Not sure about the fullback aspect though!

I really hope people stop with this wing back bollocks. Just because a player has played in a certain position, doesnt mean they are good there. Ask Plymouth fans, ask the Plymouth manager, ask the man himself. He isnt a wing back

Wright is a winger. He should be played in a position which gets the best out of him
