    All of the potential draws involved a lge 1 team.

    This was the only one that had a lg2 team as well so definitely the best draw we could have got

    To be honest the EFL Trophy victory the other night against Derby has been a welcome distraction for me from the crazy transfer window and everything that goes with it.
    A minority of our supporters are never happy with our in and outs a bit like this competition you either embrace it or diss it.

    The Quarter-Final ties will take place week commencing January 29 and Clubs will remain regionalised in Northern and Southern sections.

    Northern Section

    Bradford City v Doncaster Rovers or Wigan Athletic
    Blackpool v Bolton Wanderers

    Southern Section

    Peterborough United or Crawley Town v AFC Wimbledon
    Wycombe Wanderers v Brighton & Hove Albion U21*

    *Brighton & Hove Albion U21 granted dispensation by the EFL to play away from home.

    Couldn't ask for a better draw although I bet the Mick Doyle and the groundstaff are gutted with 3 games in a week. The irony if Doncaster get through is that we will play them on the Saturday before

    Will be interesting to see what kind of crowd we get for this one, given how all our home matches thus far have been sub-2k.

    I reckon we'll open the lower Main & lower Kop and we could get 6 or 7k for this.

    Results between could make a big difference , poor form and we will be lucky to pull 3 to 4000.
    School night will keep a few families at home, and maybe hair washing.
