One gripe though, Derbyshire on the bench over Pointon? That's just nonsense and very poor from GA as it will definitely de motivate those left out for someone who really should be one of the last names on a team sheet.

 

Yes, Derbyshire's inclusion does seem a bit of an odd one when there's the likes of Pointon, Chapman and Wilson left out altogether.
He'll probably come on and score the winner now I've said that.

How is Pointon not even in the squad?

One of our best players this season and on a massively upwards trajectory from the start of the season. Why de-rail him and take out one of our most creative and forward-thinking players?

I’ve no qualms with Alexander so far but having both Oliver and Derbyshire on the bench is just ridiculous.
If Pointon is fit he has to be a sub.
People were saying he needed a break and with only being young that’s probably right.
He’s had his rest now.Get him back in the squad.

Derbyshire should be nowhere near any squad.

 

Pointon and his agent will no doubt be looking for a move.
