I don't recall their keeper having to make a save. We hustled a bit for 20 mins in the second half, but with no quality whatsoever.

We are objectively one of the worst sides in the league. Smallwood has the gall/ignorance to say 'I don't see anyone better than us'. I can't see many worse.

 

I thought Taylor and Stubbs should have done more to stop the first but Walker was at fault for the second goal. He couldn't get the ball out his feet

 

Listening to Alexander on Radio Leeds was fairly reassuring. Honest, balanced, didn't shy away from questions or an opinion. Hope he can get a win or two and get us going.

Well Walker was at fault for the first goal,he didn’t stop the cross.I don’t know who was at fault for the awful defending for the second but no one at far post when ball came in.

 

Walker was everywhere and created lots of openings.
Gillead covered 3 positions and coped well in all of them.

 

It shouldn’t be written off until we are safe. Complacency literally will kill this club.

 

Why does a GA post match interview after a defeat sound so much more positive than a Mark Hughes one after a win.

 

I thought watching the first 20 minutes we were watching a Mark Hughes team, I believe the way Hughes asked them to play will take some knocking out of them, our movement off the ball was none existent, once Wright put us level we started to believe in ourselves, we improved in the second half and maybe should have got another before their lucky break, but if you don't clear your lines your always susceptible to conceding, I though we deserved a point today.

 

I agree with your assessment but I think it was Smith who scored!

 

Ridehalgh has to take some responsibility for the first goal.
He was nowhere near their player.

It's time to batten down the hatches, this isn't a time for wistful dreaming about 'not accepting mediocrity' or the play offs right now.

We are in huge trouble.

I hate to be 'that guy' but the main thing we had under Hughes is most teams weren't scoring many against us. I'm not even sure we have the defence now.

Looks like 2-1 defeats are 'our score' at the minute.

Broncs we have been doing it for seasons .... poor defending /not clearing lines /marking up etc etc all bad habits everyone knows against us .....get the ball in the box and we will let them be first on it t......hey know they will get chances.

 

Maybe but Walker was marking the guy who crossed the ball for the first goal.
