Next manager

Alexander in his managerial career has secured promotion at Fleetwood, play offs with Scunthorpe, promotion and football league trophy finalists with Salford, European qualification with Motherwell and then only 16 games with MK Dons.

I don’t know anything about Alexander, style of play etc (maybe someone could help with that) but surely with a track record of success like above its worth a shot?

 

Likewise, can’t stand another week of this. The dross on offer doesn’t fill me with hope though.

Alexander was Scunthorpe manager when McCall had his good season in 2016/17 and his Scunthorpe team was very entertaining. They beat us 3-2 live on Sky that season and he got them into 3rd place losing in the playoffs to Millwall. His win ratio is not bad at all, so if it’s him I’m a bit underwhelmed but hopefully he’ll get us going again.

 

Now our odds have disappeared do we move onto another team?

There’s a lot of footage of JB assaulting people. Like I said, he kicked some fella full in the face after he’d knocked him to the ground unconscious. You can’t compare a professional sport, where both opponents are signed up to whatever happens, to someone getting into an argument after one too many beers. I agree with you, there’s some nights out that end up in the wrong decisions, but in Barton’s case, thats happened multiple times (on the pitch also, 9 red cards in his career). He’s been inside twice. He’s a wrong un. Not wired up correctly. Family background and all that pointing towards some deep emotional problems. His brother is serving life in prison for murder. Im pleased he has sought help. I actually loved him as a player, proper no nonsense midfielder. Great range of passing, good reading of the game.

 

He’s got same amount of promotions on his cv as cowley?
Don’t think he failed at Salford? Even Neville said they did wrong with sacking him 5th in league?
