I would seriously consider bringing Tulloch on for Wilson second half.

 

Yes, the quality of passes to our front four has been poor. Pretty aimless. And their whole defensive set up is based on closing us down as quickly as possible so it's just very messy but it's probably only going to be one goal that wins this.

 

Harsh at the moment. The passes to Cook, Wilson, Pointon and Walker have been poor. They're fighting to keep hold of too hard passes or aimless balls.

 

First five minutes were good but since then, it’s been very poor. Can’t string any passes together and we’ve done well to go in 0-0 at half time

 

I think the kids finding it hard to get into the game not a patch on Pointon at 19 looking the far better player.

 

Some hard work and real effort out there this aft, keep it up lads ....

 

In comparison to Bass, Lewis has been shit this half

 

Gilliead and Smallwood haven't had the same impact as the Wimbledon midfield. Rather than aimless punts they need to be trying to get Wilson and Pointon in behind just like Wimbledon are doing. Turn them around, make them defend more. That's all they have done. Nothing special.

First thoughts

Lively first 10 minutes, however since then Walker , Bobby and Wilson can’t get on the ball

They have the ref on a piece of string. Players falling without being tackled getting free kicks, pulling and pushing, stray elbows, etc etc.

They don’t offer much threat but likewise neither do we.

 

Not the worst first half, but stats show were slightly behind here.

Very scrappy game but Wimbledon look more like scoring than we do.

 

Tough game this as it always was going to be. We need to keep battling hard if we are to get anything
