I could absolutely see Telford leaving for Gillingham. They arent a million miles away from each other and Gillingham could afford to take on his wages. He would satisfy the disappointment on losing out on the 3 you mentioned.

Telford didnt have a bad season by all accounts. He didnt hit the heights from 21/22 but think he did enough in terms of goals for a struggling side too. 15 in 46 isn't too shabby.

EDIT: Bradley Dack hasn't found a club yet. He wants a move back down south. L2 is probably a drop too far as Milwall are in for him apparently but if Gills stump up the cash you never know.

 

Would you take Dack Serg? I'm not sure I would. Huge wages, terrible injury record and mobility is now next to none. I'm not doubting his quality but would he be really be worth the gamble given that it could be a huge chunk of the budget sat in the stand every week?

That said, clearly, if fit he'd win you a dozen games single handedly.

I see Dallas has signed for Barnsley. That's another one Gillingham were interested in. If Barnsley fancy sending him out on loan to us like they did with Miller I wouldn't say no.

 

I've seen rumours that Plymouth and Derby are after Dack. I could see Plymouth as they run a training spilt for their northern based players with a base in Manchester. Remember Canavan talking about it, it was like a 4 down there, 3 back home split but they train at this Manchester complex. Would mean Dack wouldn't have to leave his Cheshire Mansion.

Dunno how true it is, but seen it on a few forums, could well be nonsense. But at the start of the window, Wrexham were in talks with Dack but Parkinson told him to come back when he's given his head a wobble after asking for stupid money and a 3 year deal. Rumour was he asked for £8K a week. Mullin was on £4.5K a week in NL, had an extension triggered on promotion and a rise, guess he'll be on about £6K now as their poster boy? Dack wanted more than him.... allegedly.

 

He's really struggled injury-wise recently. That kind of annoying player that pops up with a winner against us having done nothing for the previous 6 weeks!

 

I thought Canavan was talking about Barrow training in Manchester, not Plymouth.

 

Barrow do, but Plymouth also have a training setup around there too. It was brought in when Ryan Lowe was manager. He only went down to Plymouth 4 days a week as manager and spent the rest in the North. Canavan might have well mentioned it for Barrow too, but certainly did for Plymouth.

I cannot imagine us having a chance with Josh Coburn.

Very highly rated at Boro and just signed a new contract.

Had a very impressive loan spell in league 1 last season with Bristol Rovers, so if Carrick is thinking of another loan spell, cannot see it being in league 2.

He's not seen any pre'season action yet due to injury, so not sure whether fit to play against us tomorrow

 

Barrow train at FC Uniteds complex. Manager at the time said its a massive step up on Barrows old facilities. Imagine what that was?

The meltdown if we ever moved to a 7th tier sides training complex.....

 

Yes absolutely no chance he drops down to L2 after a successful L1 spell.

 

Anybody listen to radio Leeds between 6 and 7 apparently there was an interview with Lewis didn’t hear it myself but sounded like there might be a move but if not happy at city

 

Didn't hear it, but I'm convinced Harry will be off before the end of August.

I hope we spend his transfer fee wisely and we have a good keeper in mind to replace him.
