Quite a few turning Wrexham down, which is suprising considering they are meant to have pots of money. Maybe not paying as much as some think, or giving out lengthy contracts.

 

Another identikit youth player from the academies of Man City. We've had a few over the years who've gone on to be decent enough at lower league level.

 

Just seen Big Dunc has gone. What a disaster that was.

Nick Powell if he can stay fit will be a brilliant signing for Stockport. Getting the lad on the grass isn’t easy though.

 

I expect us to come top half minimum if i'm honest - recruitment has been superb (for us)
I know you are probably used to beating clubs to signings ,but it very rarely happens for us which has made a refreshing change .

2 high quality league 1 players who their clubs wanted to keep (Rogers & Pyke ) and this lad yesterday who by all accounts is a superstar in the making - Thats from Boro & Gateshead fans not just me over egging it .
As for Symonds ,he was a very good technical player but like a lot from the higher academies not yet ready for mens football ,he may well turn out to be a very good player given time .

 

I must admit I really like what Grimsby have done in the window. I like what Doncaster have done too. I think league 2 looks strong this season.

I don’t know if there is any truth in this rumour but even if there is there is first division interest as well. But these are the sort of players Along with obviously the more experienced as well we should be scooping before they go elsewhere and the price shoots up. We have to hope the scouts have the eye for good players

 

Superstar in the making, we shall see ? Trust me if he was Peterborough would have hoovered him up.
