Didn't you say last year the reason he didn't want to stay was because it was too far for him to travel? Can't see how that will have changed.

 

I'd have Vernam back for a year on loan. Can't blame him for wanting league one football last summer. Sure it's not worked out last season, but we know he is good enough for us at league 2 level.

 

I personally rated Vernam the worst of the three that left and so it proved he only started playing when his contract was ending

 

He was linked with Grimsby,but they have signed Eisa,so they may not want him now.

 

That's not what we need,someone who has not progressed as expected.We have had enough of those already.

I don't disagree with that. Same can be said for Wright.

That said, I will have a moan about both but Id soon forget about it once they pull on the claret & amber. Forgive and forget. Both did well for us.
