Highly likely we'll be playing 3-5-2.

We've got two excellent CB and so will get another 'ball playing' one.

Halliday can already play as a WB and I don't see either of the two like LB's having an issue, which is why Foulds days are numbered.

I hope so. I think we would definitely look more dangerous with a second man up top with Cook.

 

Especially with someone of the pedigree of Billy Sharp. Those two would fire us to promotion, no doubt about that. (Can't see Billy coming here though!)

 

I think it would more likely be summertime with pace.

We lack it massively in the top half of the field and at times when we've got the lead it's invaluable to put doubt in the opposition and stop them from over committing or at least potentially punishing them if they do.

 

If we have sharp and cook upfont we need to dominate posession in the middle third and attacking third, not in our defensive third.

So a more mobile defence and midfield would be required. For that reason, amongst others, I can't see it happening.
