Not used to his best potential by Curle last season according to someone i know who watched them.Thinks he's better suited further forward. I can see us going with three at the back and pushing him further up the pitch.

Why is my post mindless? I’m all for positivity and giving someone a chance, but you cannot help feeling that it is history repeating itself

His stats speak for themselves, 57 appearances in 4 years at Barnsley, fresh from a team relegated out of the football league, Hartlepool fans don’t have a good word for him

I said that about budget spent on cook when sparks announced slimmed down squad.

That’s fine. But I want to see high calibre, quality signings as promised, not bench warmers

Cook signing on was great news but this one screams ‘Abo Eisa’ all over again to me.

if you aren’t good enough for Pools you aren’t likely to be good enough for us.

 

Super - Lets see our signings in more important area's like midfield or our forward area's like both wings inwhich to me are more important to our team and i hope we have a couple of quality or Wow signings to come.

The lad's excitement will be tempered after he's spoken to Young, Oliver and Odusina.

 

Whilst I don’t disagree let’s hope this one turns into a wow signing. Reading comments from fans and Keith Curle he can terrorise defenders with pace and skill “ he needs to effect games better” let’s hope experience and good coaching brings out the best in him

 

I'm actually ok with this signing. Clearly has ability based on his championship days but question marks based on his recent outings...

I guess , I envisage fourth tier/lower third tier signings , so I'm not overly expecting signings from a higher standard.

That's a ridiculous range of positions for a young lad to be expected to fill and also develop. Seems like bad management to me, regardless of whether they believe it's just to try and find his best position.

 

Park - I think we all could agree with that.Just hope he is coached to get forward not sideways or back all the time.

I get a young lad is going to want to play regardless, but at some point someone had to sit him down and try learn a craft?

Seems ridiculous to play a bit of everywhere in todays game. Happy we have some pace in the squad, not exactly thrilled from reading about his technical play but will have to see for myself come August.
