Away Ticket Fiasco vs Carlisle

Well you have to remember Carlisle is a fairly small City population around 100,000, our average attendance this season is 6,500 (for us, that is reasonable) so to get 12,000+ home fans especially when its live on telly is bloody good.
It seems to me that all 4 clubs in the play offs, stuck by the 10% rule, so you cant blame Carlisle for not giving you more tickets, just be thankful you aren't playing Soulfraud.

It's a fairly small city but like Plymouth you have a massive catchment area, good rail links and should be a bigger club than you are. I lived in Wigton for about 2 years and I know its dominated by Liverpool and Man Utd fans but there's still a hell of a lot of Carlisle shirts and flags everywhere. Do a deal like ours and you would easily double your crowds.

 

Kind of fantasy stuff I'm afraid, I agree we do have a lot of potential. However they have had ticket discounts before for individual games and they've fallen flat on their arses, unless we are doing well.

 

Surely that would also, for a few £ , improve the atmosphere. Surely a full house benefits them financially because of periphery sales , such as merch, catering, hospitality. That’s profit added to the clubs bottom line that isn’t pooled to the semi finalists.
